Verify domains and DNS records

All these records greatly increase the credibility of your emails, improve their delivery rate to primary folders and reduce the chance of your emails ending up in spam or bulk email folders.

Additionally:

From the part ‘‘name‘‘ you should only copy what is marked red (NOT ‘‘dot‘‘ competentia ‘‘dot com), because then the domain duplicates and the record looks as if it was set up wrongly.

In ‘‘Alias‘‘ – if possible, put dot behind the word ‘‘net‘‘. If it’s not possible, leave it be.

Verification of the sender

By setting up these CNAME records, you will allow Quanda to send out emails with your name (the settings of an SPF record and authentication of sender domain will occur). The records marked ‘‘s1‘‘ and ‘‘s2‘‘ are the so called domain keys (DKIM). They are made for verifying the sender. All these records increase the credibility of sent emails tremendously, they improve the delivery rate to primary folders and reduce the chance of your emails ending up in spam or bulk email folders.

Setting up links in emails (link-branding)

By setting up these CNAME records, you will allow Quanda to use your domain for all the links in your emails. All these records increase the credibility of sent emails tremendously, they improve the delivery rate to primary folders and reduce the chance of your emails ending up in spam or bulk email folders

What do I need to do?

It is important to add 3 CNAME records, or 6 CNAME records, if you are setting up the verification of sender and also link-branding. It is necessary to add domains from which you send emails to the DNS records. If you use more than one email address to send emails from Quanda, you must set this up in each domain individually. For example, our sending domain is "quanda.com" because the sending email is jan.novak@quanda.com. That is why we expanded the DNS records of this domain to 6 CNAME records.

How to set these records up?

Sign in into Quanda.

Go to page "... / Settings / Authentication of domains & DNS".

On the new tab, log in to the page of the service that manages DNS records of your sending domain. Your domain can be registered under Active24, Forpsi and so on. Sign in on this page and in DNS records settings select 3 CNAME records that you can find on the page "... / Settings / Authentication of domains & DNS" in Quanda.

When you have these records set up, click ‘‘Check settings of DNS records‘‘ on the page "... / Settings / Authentication of domains & DNS". It can take a few hours to check the DNS records.

If everything is okay, green ticks will appear next to your domain.

Repeat this process with all your sending domains.

If you cannot check the records or have troubles with anything else, please call us at +420 605 163 892 or email our support: support@onquanda.com .

How to check the settings?

When you have these records set up, click ‘‘Check settings of DNS records‘‘ on the page "... / Settings / Authentication of domains & DNS". It can take a few hours to check the DNS records.

The settings of your domain records are visible with a delay that can be 1 or 24 hours long.

If you set the records up but Quanda didn’t verify them, try the verification later. If you are not able to check the records even after 24 hours, check the accuracy of the information in the management of your domain or contact our support: support@onquanda.com

Is it possible to send emails from Quanda without setting up CNAME records?

It is possible but we do not recommend it. The emails without this setting will be more likely to end up in promos and folders for bulk mails which will then affect the results of your email campaigns.
